Bhutanese Poets Honoured by Motivational Strips

Bhutanese poets Seeta Maya Rai, Suk Raj Darjee and Tshering Zangmo were declared as recipients of this year’s coveted ‘Rabindranath Tagore Memorial Literary Honors ,2022’ by Motivational strips.

Motivational Strips’ is the world’s most active writer’s forum associated with the Department of Culture, Government of Seychelles, and owned by literary journal SIPAY.

The forum, which has recipients from more than 60 countries, made the announcements on Saturday by Motivational Strips’ founder and president, Shiju H Pallithazheth and its forum director, Sabrina Bryant.

Poets from across the globe were chosen for this well acclaimed honor. Strenuous evaluations of the recipients were conducted by the jury before the names of the winners were declared.

Motivational Strips is today the world’s most active writer’s forum with active participation of writers from more than 167 countries. The forum is popular as a poetic research and learning centre worldwide and monthly visitors to this platform crosses 7 million.

The founder and president of Motivational Strips, Shiju H Pallithazheth, congratulated the Bhutanese poets and said Bhutanese poets have always excellent in world poetry.

“They have created a huge impact in global poetry with their poems. Poets Seeta Maya, Suk Raj and Tshering Zangmo remain role models in poetry for Bhutan and beyond,” Shiju said.

SIPAY is a popular journal in the worldwide literary circle and belongs to the Department of Culture, Government of Seychelles. The chief editor of SIPAY, Magie Faure Vidot, also congratulated the three Bhutanese poets on the occasion.
